 수익인증글 하나를 쓰고 꽤나 많은 방문자수를 유입한 날이다. 수익은 그렇게 높지 않아 6천원을 겨우 넘겼다. 어제 이렇게 방문자수가 급증했던 이유는 티스토리 포럼에 노출되었기 때문인데 하루가 지난 오늘도 약간의 여파가 남아있는지 요 근래 여느때보다는 조금 높은 방문자수를 유지할 수 있었다. 문제는 이런 일시적인 노출로 인한 방문자수의 증가는 수익으로 연결되지는 않는다는 점이다. 검색을 통한 유입이 아니었기 때문에 내 콘텐츠 자체에 흥미를 가진 사람들은 그리 많지 않을 것이라 생각한다. 그렇게 되면 체류시간도 짧아질테고.. 장기적으로는 높은 단가의 광고를 지닌 블로그로 키우는데 크게 도움이 되지 않을 것이라 생각해서 애써 노출이 되기 위해 포럼에 글을 쓰는 건 자제할까 한다. 

 홍보가 필요한 시점은 아무 근거도 없이 나 자신을 알리고 싶을 때가 아니라, 내가 포스팅한 내용을 불특정다수에게 꼭 공개해야할 이유가 있을 때이다. 많은 사람들이 모르고 있는 사안에 대한 내용을 알게 되었을 때, 사람들이 은연중에 실수를 하고 있었던 내용들에 대해 대중에게 알릴만한 가치가 있을 때 한 번씩 소리칠 수 있는 광장의 역할로 포럼을 활용해야겠다는 생각을 한다. 

 오늘은 블로그를 갓 시작한 친구와 긴 시간 통화를 하다 몰랐던 사실을 하나 알게 되었다. 친구에게 내가 그간 블로그를 운영하며 겪은 나의 노하우를 공유하고, 이런저런 이야기를 나누다가 정말 많은 수익창출을 위해서는 사이트운영이 필요하다는 이야기에 이르러 현재 한국에서 핫한 사이트들이 어떤 광고매체를 이용하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 거의 모든 사이트에서 구글 애드센스를 달고 있었다. 보배드림, 웃대, 에프엠코리아 등등, 심지어 포털사이트인 네이트조차 본문에 구글 애드센스를 삽입하고 있었다. 하지만 네이버와 일베, 두군데에서는 구글 애드센스광고를 찾을 수 없었다. 구글 배너 광고의 경우 광고의 모서리의 작은 로고에 커서를 갖다대면 "ads by google"이라는 문구가 떠서 애드센스 광고임을 식별할 수 있게 한다. 네이버는 자체 광고인듯 하였고, 일베는 adtrue라는 사이트에서 제공하는 광고를 사용하는 듯 했다.

 네이버야 뭐 대체 어떤 생각인지 구글만큼의 시장규모도 형성해주지 못하면서(체감상 네이버 애드포스트 수익은 대략 구글 애드센스 수익의 50분의 1정도 수준임.) 세계를 시장으로 둔 거대기업 구글의 광고시장을 한 번 이겨보겠다는 말도 안되는 야심을 부리며 검색결과에서 자사 블로그를 우대하 티스토리 블로그를 배척함으로써 구글 애드센스로 수익을 거두고 싶어하는 수많은 블로거들의 지탄을 받아온 이기적인 기업으로 유명했지만, 순간 방문자가 2만명을 상회하는 엄청난 트래픽소스를 지닌 커뮤니티인 일베는 왜 구글 애드센스 광고를 홈페이지에 삽입하지 않았는지가 궁금했다. 사이트의 도덕성, 윤리성은 차치하더라도 그 엄청난 트래픽이라면, 구글 애드센스가 삽입되어 있을 경우 예상되는 광고수익은 정말 천문학적일텐데 말이다.  비슷한 유형의 유머사이트들이나 커뮤니티(보배드림,웃대,오유,에프엠코리아 등등)들은 모두 구글 애드센스 광고를 달고 있었다. 그런 사이트들의 특성상 서로 댓글을 주고받고 본문의 내용을 곱씹으면서 한 게시물에 체류하는 시간도 엄청 길테고, 광고가 삽입된다면 정말 엄청난 수익을 거둘 수 있었을 텐데, 그러지 않았던 이유가 뭐일지 궁금하다. 게시물의 내용이 불법적이거나 선정적이거나 해서 애드센스 약관에 위배된 것일까? adtrue라는 사이트에서 제공하는 광고시장의 규모가 애드센스와 필적할지는 모르겠지만, 한국의 사이트 뿐 아니라 세계적인 광고시장을 지배하고 있는 구글 애드센스 광고가 아닌 다른 광고를 메인으로 삼고 있는 것이 신기했다. 뭐 그 광고시장의 규모도 엄청나지 않을까 예상만 할 뿐이다. 

 블로그 생활을 하면서 사이트 운영이 정말 로망처럼 느껴진다. 내가 매일 어떤 내용있는 콘텐츠를 준비해서 게시해야 하는게 아니라, 사이트 이용자들끼리 서로 정보를 제공할 수 있는 장을 만들고, 계속해서 양질의 정보들이 축적되는 자생할 수 있는 선순환 구조. 사이트 이용자들의 선정성, 폭력성, 저작권침해 등의 문제를 항상 지속적으로 관리해줄 수 있다면, 정말 좋을 것 같다. 사이트의 운영 목적, 테마, 운영자의 카리스마, 적법성 등등 사이트를 성공적으로 운영하기 위해 필요한 것들이지만 어느 것 하나도 시원스런 대답을 내놓을 수 없어 그저 꿈으로만 갖고 있다. 이 정도의 주절거림으로 큰 돈을 벌고 싶다는 욕심은 접어야 할 것 같다. 돈을 벌 수 있는 구조는 만들어졌고, 콘텐츠 생산이 절실하나 내가 어느정도 공을 들여 발행해 내는 글들이 어디까지 힘을 낼 수 있을지는 모르겠다. 물론 이 영역이 한계가 없는 영역이기는 하나 그만큼의 수준으로 끌어올리기 위해서는 여간 노력이 필요한 것이 아닐 것이다. 할 수 있는 만큼 하겠다. 할만큼 하고, 더 해야 할 부분에 대해서는 계속해서 고민을 해보려 한다. 또 하루치의 수익인증글을 마무리하게 되면 23일치만 더 하면 된다. 수익인증이 마무리 된 후로부터는 더욱 다양한 글들을 쓰도록 해봐야지.

 순간적으로 번뜩이는 글감들이 여럿 있으나 메모를 하고 그것을 다시금 상기시키는데 부팅이 조금 걸린다. 그래서 막상 실제로 쓰게되는 게시물은 몇 되지 않는다. 처음에는 글쓰기를 좋아했고, 좋아하는 것을 이용해 돈을 벌 수 있다는 수익구조가 마음에 들어 블로그를 시작했지만, 하다보니 블로그라는 매체의 한계를 느끼게 되고, 점차 내가 직접 글을 쓰지 않아도 수익이 발생할 수 있도록 되어지는 수익구조에 관심을 가지게 되었다. 글을 쓰고 싶어서 시작했다가, 글을 더이상 쓰지 않기를 바라다니.. 끝나지 않은 고민은 버리지 않고 계속 머릿속에 던져놓을테다. 고민을 놓고 편해지는 것보다 머릿속을 복잡하게 헝클어 놓으면, 더이상 복잡해지기 싫은 내 뇌가 어떻게든 해결책을 마련해놓지 않을까 생각해본다. 오늘도 자정이 거의 다되어 전날의 수익인증글을 마치게 되었다. 수익을 창출할 수 있는 다양한 방향에 대해서 고민고민하고, 해결책을 찾을 수 있도록 해야겠다. 모두들 굿밤 되시라.

Today I learned that I did not know a long time conversation with a friend who just started my blog. I told my friends that I had to run my blog and share my know-how, and talked about this and so I came to the point that I needed to operate a site in order to generate a lot of revenue. saw. Almost every site had Google AdSense. Even the portal site Nate was inserting Google AdSense into the body. But Naver and Ilbey could not find Google AdSense ads in both. It is famous for being a selfish company that has gotten a lot of gossip from bloggers who want to earn money with Google AdSense by pretending not to be able to win once, by rejecting Tristori blog by favoring its blog in search results. However, Ivé, a community with huge traffic sources, wondered why Google Adsense ads were not embedded on the homepage. Apart from the moral and ethical nature of the site, if that traffic is huge, then the expected ad revenue would be astronomical if Google AdSense was inserted. Similar types of humor sites and communities (such as Bonjourd, Dae Dae, Oh Yu, and EF Korea) all had Google AdSense ads. The nature of such sites would give me a lot of time to stay in a post, to comment on each other, to read the contents of the text, and if the advertisement was inserted, I would have been able to make a tremendous profit, but I wonder why. Is the content of the post illegally or sexually explicitly in violation of the AdSense Terms? I do not know if the size of the ad market provided by adtrue is comparable to that of AdSense, but it is a strange thing that it mainly uses ads other than Google AdSense ads that dominate the global advertising market as well as Korean sites. I just expect that the size of the advertising market will be huge.

I feel like the site is really romantic while I live my blog. I do not have to prepare and publish any content contents every day, but it is a virtuous circle in which the users can make information for each other and accumulate high quality information continuously. It would be great if you could always keep track of issues such as your site's personality, violence, and copyright infringement. The site's operational purpose, theme, operator's charisma, legitimacy, etc. are necessary for the successful operation of the site, but none of them provide a cool answer, so they have only dreams. It seems that the desire to earn big money with this degree of fussing should be avoided. The structure to make money is made, and the content production is desperate, but I do not know how much the articles that I publish with a certain amount of money can exert. Of course, this area is a limitless area, but it will not be necessary to raise it to that level. I will do as much as I can. I want to continue to worry about what I need to do more and more.
